Day 3: Prelude to a FractureThe old glass door hinges creaked as they were forced back for the countless time in their lives. The Spine walked slowly into one of the Walter manor living rooms, on his way to the Hall of Wires. His vertebrae were getting stiff from being in a ridged position for too long. Day 1: Sincere BuddingBehind the Walter Manor in the mechanical shaped gardens, the steam-man band was enjoying the particularly cool California weather. Steve had set up a hammock between two cog trees, tweaking with some sort of very obnoxious, noisy contraption. Michael, Sam, and the Jon were attempting to see who could vault and climb the most bushes and various sculptures without falling or stopping. The Spine was sitting on a stone block and looked to be reflecting quietly, oblivious to most of the silly chaos in the garden.

Third GIMP/Photoshop tutorial. :3 By request from da Top Dog, here's how I do hair in art pieces. Very simple and short one actually. ^^;

Ignore the half-a$$ed derpy Danny pic here. I'm exhausted and just going for the demonstration. x3

Hope this will help anyone that struggles with digitally created hair. If anything doesn't make sense, just leave me a comment! :meow: I'm not really one for complication or too much detail, so I've found ways around most of what one would expect for digital painting.

Any suggestions on how to convert pencil sketches to line arts that are usable? My sketches lose a lot of detail just from my lined paper, I would like to be able to still use them as line art but removing them also removes a lot of my detail that I put in.

Ooh, I have this on my list of tutorials to create! :nod: *looks at your gallery* Ah, I know what you mean. =/ I had this same problem not too long ago. It'd be too hard for me to explain in a few words, so when I post the line-art tutorial, I'll keep you in mind to notify. :)

When I do a smudge it makes a new layer. it alsoo does that on paintbrush, free select, etc how do i get rid of them?

Well... I don't know what to tell you there. :o It shouldn't be doing that at all.. Maybe it has something to do with your key presets.

You can press Ctrl+A to get rid of the free select lines and select the entire pic. ^^
